Welcome to the Nesbit PTA Ohana - We add the AWESOME! to Nesbit



The Nesbit PTA Ohana (Ohana means "family" in Hawaiian) is 501(c)(3) nonprofit parent and teacher association (Tax ID 94-6184980) that encourages parent and teacher collaboration working towards helping to assure outstanding education happens for all students. We, at Nesbit, are fortunate to have a highly active PTA that focuses on two primary tasks:  1) raising money for the school and 2) hosting events that build our community. 


Take the following steps:

  1. Sign up to receive Nesbit PTA Pawprints weekly newsletter (typically every Sunday), by clicking here
  2. Become a PTA Member for $20 per family (up to 2 family members) or $10 for teachers/staff.

  3. Join our Nesbit PTA Ohana Shutterfly Site by clicking here. You do not have to be a PTA member to join the site. You will be able to subscribe to our PTA calendar to get reminders, receive ad-hoc announcements, have open discussions with other members, and share pictures and videos. Tip: Download the mobile app "Share Sites" and subscribe to our calendar to see events from your mobile calendar.
  4. Join our Nesbit School (K-8) Facebook group here:
  5. Attend our monthly PTA meetings every first Tuesday of the month from 7:00 - 9:00 pm in the Nesbit Office Staff Room or Multi-Use Room.  EVERYONE is invited to attend!!

Easy Ways to Earn Money for PTA!

1.  Shop on via and a portion of every purchase will be donated to Nesbit.  You will have to first register Nesbit Elementary PTA as your charitable organization of choice by going to  Everytime thereafter that you go to, you will be asked if you would prefer to shop through  Amazon will then donate a percentage of your purchases to Nesbit!  Couldn't be easier!

2.  Register your credit cards with and choose Nesbit School as your charitable organization. Every time you eat at participating merchants, a portion will be donated to Nesbit.

3. Collect Box Tops from food packages and turn them in at the front office.
