TK is a busy place.  Please send your child to school in clothing and shoes that will allow for very active and a variety of movement experiences.  Please also know that kindergarten can be MESSY so send your children to school in clothing that you are comfortable with getting dirty.

Supplies & Snacks

* Your child will need a backpack (labeled with their name) every single day.

* Your child will also need a small snack that can be eaten in 5 minutes every single day.

*  Snacks should be HEALTHY and separated from lunch if your child is staying for the after-school program.

Teachers are very accessible to parents via email.  Additionally, requests for conferences are always welcomed.  Please do not share important information with your child's teacher at the start of the school day as the classroom teacher often has a multitude of children to attend to at this time.  An email or phone call to voice mail is the best way to communicate these important messages.

All classrooms also have Shutterfly accounts and this is an easy way to stay in touch with what is happening in school.

On Mondays, homework folders are sent home.

On Wednesdays, the Wednesday packet is also sent home.

Join Nesbit PTA's facebook page (search for Nesbit Elementary) or follow Nesbit on twitter (@nesbitpumas) as other ways to stay informed.
